I’m looking through photos from two years ago in the Caprivi area of Namibia. And stumbled on a few videos I actually forgot about! We cannot wait to go back to that region… But to just give you an idea what we experienced, here are the videos. My skills with photographing videos are not that great and I’m too lazy to edit 🙂
A lone bull we encountered during the game drive in Mahangu National Park. Just when he started to walk in our direction, my nerves got the best of me and I stopped photographing… The guide had to reverse… not sure what the elephant was up to. But he soon lost interest in us…
These elephants were enjoying the splash in water and mud SO much! 🙂
These buffalos came crashing through the river from an island just after we have rowed with the Mokoro at that exact same spot… Scary!
The most special memory from Ngepi was the hippos we watched from our campsite early in the morning and throughout the day. Tired, because they kept us awake all night!
And then, a sunset cruise on the Kavango river, pure bliss
